Business Coaching & Mentoring Program
Following the success of the AUSVEG SA Business Health Check, Rural Business Support (RBS), delivered Stage Two, the Business Coaching & Mentoring Program.
This fully funded initiative, delivered under the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fun and supported in South Australia by PIRSA, provided South Australian vegetable growers with tailored business coaching. The program was designed to help growers navigate financial challenges, strengthen decision-making and improve their long-term performance.
The program connected growers with independent business coaches who worked with them on a range of financial and strategic topics, including:
- Identifying key financial and operational challenges.
- Financial modeling, cost assessments, and cash flow management.
- Business strategy development and implementation.
- Presenting business cases to banks and financial institutions.
- Benchmarking business performance against industry standards.
The program allowed participants to work one-on-one with experienced business coaches at no cost, ensuring accessibility for growers of all scales.
